Hello,

I am kind of confused about the first exercise on sheet 6.

We have given the set of natural numbers, the extended sets with ⊥, ⊤ and both of them and some orders. The task is to fill the table below the given data, according to their attributes whether it is a total order, a partial order and so on.

In the window to enter our solution however other sets are given then previously seen in the table, for example (N⊤, R3) in the table but (N⊥, R3) in the actual task. This goes on for the other subtasks in this exercise 1 as well. Every relation just included the bottom element, and not others like seen in the table.

Because we only have 11 trials to use with this being the only variant of the exercise, which relation should we consider for solving this task. The given one from the table or the ones above the window to type the answer in?

Thanks for your help in regard.

I assume your question is:

Relations R1 to R6 are defined (by the diagrams) on various sets but the tasks always print the sets of the natural numbers plus bottom and the names of the relations. Which sets shall we use?

Please use the sets and relations specified in the diagram and the table. The set names in the individual subtasks seem to be have been misprints (that shouldn't be there anymore).

Yes, I might used a too complicated way to ask my question. Thank you for clarifying this.
