Simplex Algorithm pivoting variable

Question

In exam paper 2018.08.21 Question no. 10:

Here I have pivoted y1 with x1 in second process instead of y0. Although my answer satisfies the limits, I wanted to know will it be marked as correct answer?
Or how can I choose which variable to pivot with?

In general, there are many options for choosing variables for the next pivoting step. As long as you choose one that is correct, your solution will get the points, of course. However, you can not choose any variable; you must select a "suitable" variable as explained on slide 104 of the related chapter.
